THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA IS SPECTACULAR

The group visited the Mutianyu entrance to the Great Wall of China.  It was breathtakingly spectacular and breathtaking to climb.

SAFE LANDING IN BEIJING

Our 10 adventurous students and two faculty leaders arrived safely in Beijing on schedule.  Surprisingly, they look bright-eyed and alert.  Perhaps they slept on the plane during their 13 hour flight from JFK to Beijing.

GETTING READY FOR CHINESE CUISINE -- BON VOYAGE DINNER

The group gathered Friday evening, May 2, at the Yi Palace to have a pre-trip taste of the wonderful cuisine that awaits us in China.  Professor Huang and Professor Zhou ordered an authentic array of Chinese dishes for us to sample.
